Why do you need to change your StickyID?
Your StickyID is your email address used as a unique identifier for StickyAccount. You may need to change your email address for various reasons, which means you may encounter various situations where you need to update the email address that is also your StickyID.
If you wish to receive StickyAccount communications at another email address.
If you only need to change the email address to which your StickyAccount communication is sent, including the one-time PIN code, then changing your StickyID is unnecessary.
If you are still using the email address in StickyID: that is, as long as this email address is secure, protected by a strong password, and can only be accessed by you, then you can simply set up an alternate email address. All communications related to your StickyAccount will be sent to your alternate email address.
1. Go towww.stickypassword.com, then click on it in the upper right cornerSign in.
2. Enter your StickyID and click Continue.
3. Enter your master password and click login.
4. Click on the Settings tab.
5. Click Change to enter or modify your alternate email.
6. Enter your new alternate email address and click Change.
7. You have now added a backup email that will be used for all StickyAccount communications. After completion, please make sure to check from your StickyAccount; cancellation.
If you change your StickyID for security reasons.
Because your StickyID is the unique identifier for your StickyAccount and database, you need to uninstall and reinstall StickyPassword to change it. During the new installation process, you will be prompted to enter a new StickyID.
Please note that all data in your current StickyAccount cloud database will be lost. However, your local password database is stored on your computer and will be used to fill in your new StickyAccount.
1. Click Start - Search Sticky Paswword, right-click and select Uninstall.
2. Select Sticky Password and click uninstall.
3. Click Yes, you want to remove Sticky Password from your device.
4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to keep the Sticky Password database and settings.
5. Sticky Password has been removed from your computer.
6. Now, simply reinstall Sticky Password and create a new Sticky account using the new StickyID. If you have activated Sticky Password with your license key, please;Contact our support team（ support@stickypassword.com ）. Our support team will transfer your license key to your new StickyID.
